I'm Becky, the new Youth Leadership Coordinator at Orchestras For All!

Orchestras for All (OFA) is a National Youth Music Organisation that exists to create inclusive group music-making opportunities for young people who would otherwise be excluded. Over the past 10 years, OFA has developed three innovative programmes to break down significant barriers to orchestral music making for young people in the UK. They know that music making boosts young people’s skills and enriches their lives forever. That’s why they wholeheartedly believe that orchestras are FOR ALL.

I am a cellist, and have decided to take up flute for this challenge. I want to get involved in this because I benefitted so much from OFA when I was a member of the National Orchestra for All. I want to give back, and what a fun way to do it! I'd also like to gain confidence playing as I've always struggled with that - this will definitely help get me out of my comfort zone!
